Shadowrun Review
10 out of 15
While Shadowrun does offer some fun online action, it does so without fully utilizing the franchise on which it was marketed with.

Graphically Shadowrun looks good, but not great. While the characters are well crafted, they are not quite as animated as they should be and when combined with the level design (which is pretty basic) there's not a whole lot of sizzle to be had here. The game's graphics are adequate, and certainly look good on a high definition TV that supports 1080i. Likewise the sounds and music get the job done, but there's nothing particularly striking about them.

At the end of the day Shadowrun can be fun if you ignore the poor use of the brand on which it is based and the intermittent connectivity problems. The action is actually fun and challenging and is perfect for those looking for bite sized online action fixes. The Xbox 360 version of the game has the advantage over its PC counterpart because there are no compatibility problems - The PC version requires you to be running Vista when most people are running XP.
