The Secrets of Atlantis Review
6 out of 15
Some secrets are meant to stay hidden.
Date: Friday, July 27, 2007
Author: Susan Arendt

The Secrets of Atlantis isn’t broken and does have a few entertaining hooks here and there, but overall there’s just not enough to be worth enduring all the quirks and frustrations. The story is unoriginal and uninspired, the characters are dull and lifeless, and while some of the puzzles are genuinely fun, any entertainment derived from them is more than cancelled out by the aggravation of actually getting to them. The game feels half-done in places, over-thought in others, and you’ll find yourself asking “Are you serious?” far too often. Some secrets are meant to stay hidden.
