Smash Court Tennis 3 Review
9 out of 15
Rent it for the mini-games, skip it for the career mode.

While the game lacks wi-fi online multiplayer there is a decent ad-hoc mode and a game sharing feature, which is nice if your friend doesn’t already have the game. That being said, the most fun I’ve had with the game is the mini-game mode where you can play Pac-Man, Galaga, or Bomb Tennis. Yes, in Galaga tennis you or your opponent can be abducted…but alas you can’t have two players on one side of the court if you shoot him down. Anyway these mini-game modes are quite addictive – I’ve actually played more of the mini-games than the ‘real’ mode of the game.

Smash Court Tennis 3 isn’t an awful game – there’s just not a whole lot here to keep your attention. There is a lot of depth in the game but will you keep coming back to play it? Unless the thought of playing Pac-Man on a tennis court interests you—in that case, pick it up …otherwise it is a rental.
