Dynasty Warriors: GUNDAM Xbox 360 Review
7 out of 15
Another great concept falls by the wayside due to a lack of execution...

Where the game does come through is on the Gundam storyline. Fans of the series should be able to identify with the characters pretty quickly, and the events will make much more sense to the initiated. Unfortunately those who haven’t delved very deeply into the ‘Gundam universe’ may find the storyline a bit hard to follow at times, and perhaps a bit weak as a whole. Also, as a reward for playing through the game's different modes and storylines, players unlock voice clips and galleries.

I find it hard to stomach the fact that such an uninspired game carries both Dynasty Warriors and Gundam monikers -- two very popular franchises – and squanders a great opportunity As a fan of the Dynasty Warriors games I can’t really suggest more than a rental. Gundam fans may want to do the same thing. Fans of both will probably have a hard time passing this up, despite the flaws it presents.
