Presentation and graphics are detailed. The frame rate on an average computer is steady and the layout and surrounding areas on the track paint a clear picture of the environment. The replay and TV modes could be mistaken for a race broadcast. If there is a weak facet of this game, it would be the graphics could be even better with a little more work. The color palate should be more vibrant. Crash effects, especially from the cockpit camera, were not as good as other visual effects.

The online racing mode shows well as a gaming option. The interface for online game setup is easy to use. The solid online interface will no doubt lead to leagues organized amongst friends. Leagues are usually arranged in racing games to avoid people who treat the race as a destruction derby, thereby ruining the experience for everyone else. This game provides a great online mode to facilitate those types of leagues.

Games that are this good out of the box are relatively rare. Add in the fact that the game can be found for $20 and it's a absolute steal. Race '07 is a exemplary game that will provide many hours of racing bliss at a superb price.
