TimeShift Review
10 out of 15
Bad AI, an obtuse story, and a frustrating end game drag TimeShift down into the realm of mediocrity.

The other problem rears its head in the second to last stage. It seems you constantly have the objective of finding a lever in order to unlock something on that level. Finding the levers becomes very tedious and takes away any rush of adrenaline that the earlier levels had portrayed. In many cases you will find two levers that you have to hit. This means you have to use time powers in order to get to the other lever in time to unlock the piece so you can continue the mission.

What we are left with is a really good shooter that is somewhat hindered by bad AI, a bad storyline and tedious objectives toward the end. The sum total of the whole game still comes out being a pretty good one even with those problems. It also comes out at a bad time with other established games coming out around it. The least you could do is rent the game and have some fun with it.
