Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action Review
11 out of 15
Microsoft's Xbox 360 version of the popular Scene It? DVD game brings people of all stripes together.

Scene It? Is a lot of fun and it’s a solid product that is perfect for the party setting, but it is not without a handful of irritations. For me the biggest irritant is the announcer, a guy that tries to come off as witty but instead proves to be just plain grating on the senses. Like an aging comic trapped in the Catskills, this guy belongs on a dating show, not in a videogame. The other where Scene It? Proves to be weak is in its overall presentation. For being an Xbox 360 game Scene It? Looks last generation. Casual doesn’t have to mean boring and most of the scenery in this game is just that.

But at the end of the day it’s tough not to recommend Scene It? And during this time of year it is the perfect time to ease your non-gaming family into playing an Xbox 360 game. Scene It? Is fun, engaging and ultimately a game that brings people together. Add to that the promise of future downloadable content and the $60 price tag doesn’t seem so unreasonable.
