Empire Earth III Review
6 out of 15
The latest chapter in the Empire Earth series feels watered down.
Date: Tuesday, November 27, 2007
Author: Robert Martell

Ensuring that gameplay is even less enjoyable, every unit is given a few annoying lines to repeat over and over again. Bad jokes and terrible puns are clearly timeless, as a unit from any age will prove. This does does however bring up the games best feature, the ability to shut these voices off.

Simplistic design and an easy to use interface aren't always a recipe for success. In fact, the technical advances and very deep structure are what made the first game great. Add in gameplay flaws and a shallow experience, and this game is sure to turn off even some of the biggest Empire Earth fans.
