Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash
2 out of 15
Go, go Godzilla! Go far away from this horrible game.

Multiplayer modes are available with either multi-card or single card play, however there’s no good reason to subject a friend to this game unless you’re actively looking to sever the friendship.

Everything about this game, from the simplistic graphics and the incoherent story to the lack of a workable save system and the horrible hit detection speak to a rushed effort. Even the manual is filled with errors, with the table of contents pointing to sections that don’t exist. It’s hard to recommend this game to anyone as Godzilla fans will be appalled at the treatment of their favorite radioactive lizard and beat ‘em up fans will be unimpressed with the repetitive level design and poorly implemented combat. Let’s hope that next time, they let sleeping lizards lie.
