Grand Theft Auto IV Review
14 out of 15
Liberty City is back, and more real than ever.

Perhaps the most rewarding of all the multiplayer modes is ‘free mode’. It is exactly what it sounds like - you, with all of your friends, set loose in Liberty City to do whatever you please. Personally, I recommend hijacking a bus, filling it with all your friends, and seeing if you can beat our survival time with five stars of cops on your tail. The current record stands at nine minutes and thirty seconds.

Whichever way you choose to play, whatever you decide to focus on, there’s room for it all in this game. With three massive areas and your hundreds of square miles of your own personal urban jungle, this Liberty City, more than any other version, is yours to do with as you please. The possibility for creative anarchy is limited only by the expanse of your imagination.
