Smash Court Tennis 3 Review
5 out of 15
Smash Court Tennis 3 is a double fault. That's tennis lingo for really bad.

The game modes aren’t bad – you can play singles and doubles matches and in exhibition mode you can modify all the rules to your liking. There’s also a tutorial, career mode and arcade mode. Career mode has all the bells and whistles you’d normally expect in a game like this, however the gameplay is so frustratingly boring that you probably won’t spend any time there. The game does have a decent stat engine to see how you compare and some RPG like elements in career mode.

With a few tennis games out there, including the recently released and just as disappointing Top Spin, there’s no real reason to pick this one up. Ironically, the old Virtua Tennis continues to do the job for me if I need to play a tennis game; this one is at the bottom of the heap.
