‘Splosion Man Review
14 out of 15
A blast from beginning to end.

Playing through the 50 levels of the single player is a blast – no pun intended - and with the inclusion of multiplayer, you and up to three other friends can play through a different set of an additional 50 levels, either locally or over Xbox Live. The multiplayer game focuses mainly on teamwork and features numerous times when players need to “Splode” off of each other to gain height and distance to further add to the difficulty of each level.

Appreciatively, the game includes a countdown timer that players can activate to help match up their jumps and after a couple levels playing with the same people, you will have the knack down of when and where to jump off each other. There are plenty of switches strewn about each level where players need to trigger them at the same time, so if one person doesn’t make it, the others will need to self-detonate to try again.

‘Splosion Man is a game that does things right from beginning to end and even though it may have you cursing up a storm every now and then, it’s a game that you can get a sense of satisfaction from, either playing it for an hour or for five to ten minutes at a time. Even without its price of only 800 MS Points in consideration, or the extras that the game gives you such as gamerpics, a premium theme and an avatar award, ‘Splosion Man is easily one of the most enjoyable games of the year.
