Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter Wii Review
7 out of 15
Creativity without execution.

All in all though, the platforming will require a great deal of patience to get through. For one, these sections can be quite long and even though you can find extra lives throughout the levels as well as checkpoint saves, once you lose your lives it's back to the beginning. Why a game marketed towards kids would punish them in such a way is beyond me. While platforming you can go out of your way to collect coins and find stamps for your drawing creations. Oddly enough the stamps don't unlock new drawing items for use, they unlock new drawing items that can then be purchased and then used, making you wonder why you'd go out of your way for them in the first place.

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for the Wii has a lot of good ideas within it, unfortunately most of them aren't executed upon well enough to warrant a recommendation. Hardcore platform junkies may want to give it a try if only to see the action drawing sections but the kids this game is ostensibly targeted towards may find it hard to muster up the patience needed to play it.
