Author: James Fudge

Lost in Microsoft's other announcements today was news from the Associated Press that the company settled a lawsuit filed against it by French game developer In-Fusio related to the development of a mobile phone version of HALO. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. In-Fusio filed a complaint in December of 2006 alleging that Microsoft had attempted to terminate an agreement where In-Fusio would develop a mobile version of Halo, which In-Fusio agreed to pay $2 million in royalties for. In-Fusio claimed that Microsoft stonewalled its development attempts, while demanding additional royalty installments. In-Fusio filed a motion to prevent Microsoft from terminating the agreement last week, and was awarded a favorable order, according to court filings.
