Codemasters today announced the release of the Overlord playable demo for the Xbox 360. Available for download now from Xbox LIVE Marketplace, the demo gives gamers their first opportunity to see just how truly evil a ruler they can be. Overlord is planned to release June 26th for the Xbox 360 and the PC, and is rated "T" (Teen) by the ESRB. A PC demo is already available.

In the demo, players don the Overlord's illustrious armor and assemble a team of Brown Minions (the brawlers) to head off on a session of serious destruction in the once tranquil area of The Mellow Hills.
