GTA IV Multiplayer Details Revealed
15 game types with 16 player matches

There have been some surprising details about the multiplayer aspect of Grand Theft Auto IV revealed today. According to PlanetGTA , PSM magazine in Spain is reporting that there at 15 game types available, each allowing up to 16 players in each.

Along with the regular deathmatch and team deathmatch, some game modes are driving and racing while some seem to be escort and objective based. Each mode will allow players to choose characters from the game, also allowing them to customize their looks. Below is a list of all the game type names – except one.



The multiplayer gametypes are:

  • Team Mafia Work
  • Deathmatch
  • Team Deathmatch
  • Turf War
