The latest Game Informer Magazine has a huge write up on the highly anticipated Gears of War 2 and reveals quite a few interesting details. The magazine says that the game will take place 6 months after the end of the first game and will feature new characters, enemies and weapons.

You will still take the role of Marcus Fenix with Dom as your partner, with two other characters who join you, and you will meet up with old favorites, Cole and Baird, eventually. Cliffy B mentions that there will be enemies that make the Brumak look like a “baby panda bear” and that there will be another vehicle sequence, although this time it will take place inside of a COG Centaur Tank.

There wasn’t much details about the multiplayer, although drop-in and out co-op will be available and players will be able to play at two separate difficulty levels. For more details about the article, be sure to grab a copy when it hits the stand.
