Major Nelson's Blog has announced the two new titles that will be available this Wednesday on the Xbox LIVE marketplace. Battlezone – available for 400 MS Points - is an overhauled version of the classic arcade game. IN addition to updraded graphics, there will also be added support for deathmatch, team deathmatch and capture the flag modes as well as cam support for those who like to live on the edge.
The second game this week brings the Squirrel and Moose team of Rocky and Bullwinkle to the Marketplace – for 800 MS Points - in a collection of over a 100 “micro-games”. The games will feature the cast of characters from the cartoon and will allow players to use the LIVE Vision camera to control the action in 25 of the games by using gestures.
If NHL 2k9 were the only hockey game on the market it’d be an easy buy for any fan of the hottest game on ice. But even with exemplary competition on the shelf, this game still more than holds its own.
Finally, the Xbox 360 has a JRPG which it can claim as a true RPG gem, and if Tales of Vesperia doesn’t get RPG fans believing in the 360’s future with the genre, nothing will.
