There have been a number of game houses closing their doors this year and it seems the trend isn’t slowing down any. GameIndustry.biz is reporting that Activision has confirmed, Underground Development, the studio behind the PlayStation 3 port of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, will be shutting its doors at the end of May.

The studio formerly known as Z-Axis in Foster City CA, was acquired by Activision in May 2002 and currently employs a staff of 45 of which Activision says they "are currently making efforts to find opportunities for all employees at other Activision studios."
