Fans of the arcade shooter Assault Heroes rejoice! Xbox LIVE Arcade is releasing the sequel that will allow you to battle on land and in space to save mankind against the sinister alien force before it’s too late.

Featuring an enhanced multiplayer co-op mode, hi-jackable enemy units, on-foot action and diverse and interactive environments, Assault Heroes 2 looks to bring all the action of the original back with an added kick.

Word on the street is that the game will be available on the Xbox Marketplace May 14th. Until then, you can check out some snazzy new screenshots of the upcoming game in our Media Section.
