Always wanted to create an achievement? Think some of the ones that developers come up with (Simpsons "easiest achievement ever", I'm looking at you) are kinda lame ? Well, beginning Tuesday, September 16th, 2008, Red Faction: Guerrilla will be holding a contest exclusively on their community website , that will allow you to do just that.

In conjunction with the recently concluded multiplayer beta on Xbox LIVE, the developers from Volition are looking to the gaming community to create the final achievement for Red Faction: Guerrilla. More than just your average “Shoot X Number of Players” or “Complete X Level”, the contest is all about thinking outside of the box and looking at the new multiplayer game play aspects that Red Faction: Guerrilla brings to the table. Destruction, jetpacks, saw blades; everything seen in the beta is fair game – if you were lucky enough to get in the beta that is.

The top five (5) entries as decided by the development team will receive prizes, and the winning entry will be made into an Achievement (360) and a Trophy (PS3) within the final game. The winning party will also receive a copy of the recently announced Collector’s Edition for the console of their choice, and one other special surprise. For full rules and regulations, head to the contest page .
