Remember RayStorm? Sadly, I don’t. But I guess that means playing the just announced remake will make it all that more interesting. Square Enix has revealed that they are releasing a remake of the of the shooting game with RayStorm HD which will be heading to Xbox LIVE Arcade on May 5th for the not so low price of 1200 MS Points.

Combining the gameplay of the original RayStorm with all-new graphics updated for the present day, the game will still feature the Lock-On Lasers that defined the title, and the eight-stage game scenario will draw players back into the world of the feverish shoot-'em-up.
