Capcom has announced Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is now available for download on the PlayStation Network and will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade on February 2nd, 2011 for $14.99 or 1200 MS Points.

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 sees the return of Nathan “Rad” Spencer as the daring, elite soldier equipped with his famous bionic arm. Now outfitted with both passive and active upgrades, Spencer’s bionic arm can be customized to suit the player’s taste at any time during gameplay. Active upgrades such as grenade launchers, upper cuts and electro claw allow for more offensive attacks on the countless gun-toting soldiers encountered throughout the game.

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 enhances the visual achievements of its predecessor with the addition of more detailed character models, textures, and vibrant colors. Cooperative gameplay returns as players can play alone or with a friend to topple General Sabio. Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 improves upon its predecessor by presenting co-op gameplay in a single screen requiring the players to work together in a more dynamic fashion.
