Firmware Issue With Old Xbox 360
At least it's not identity theft.
Date: Wednesday, May 18, 2011
Author: Brian Rowe

If you go to play your Xbox 360 and see the message, "disc unreadable" or "disc unsupported," the problem may not be with your disc.

The newest firmware update changes the way that the Xbox 360 interacts with discs, and thus, is incompatible with some early models. Microsoft can see which units are affected through Xbox LIVE and will attempt to contact owners. Anyone else affected is encouraged to contact Xbox Support.

More info on what's new in the game and in retail packages available for pre-order right now.
