EA studio Criterion Games officially announces Burnout CRASH!, the next title in the popular action racing game series. The game is being developed for Prelease on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade sometime in the Fall. Criterion Games claims that this new game returns to its roots with has gone back a focus on the fan-favorite Crash mode and Autolog support that lets players compete with their friends.

Is the case with Burnout games, players are rewarded for driving like a-holes, causing traffic chaos, crashing into cars, triggering explosions and destroying everything in sight. The game also offers three game modes available across 18 intersections in six locations, each requiring different skills and strategies to maximize damage. Finally Burnout CRASH! offers plenty of vehicles to unlock, high-value targets to seek and destroy, a game mode designed exclusively for Kinect, and secret features to discover.

Look for it later this year.
