Square Enix and wholly-owned studio Eidos-Montreal announced this morning that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone gold and will be available in North American retail stores on August 23. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the debut title release for Eidos-Montreal. The game will be available for the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and Windows PC. the PC version will be available via Steam, and OnLive.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is an action RPG set in a future world where man and technological advances have evolved to the point that human can do incredible things. The game tells the story of Adam Jensen, a cybernetically augmented man who did not choose his enhanced gifts. Jensen finds himself in the middle of a global conspiracy to which he holds the key. The game is set in a near-future world where humanity is at a turning point.
By offering players the chance to play the game in multiple and vastly different ways, DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION challenges the foundations of gaming and provides an immersive experience where every choice has a lasting consequence.

Another interesting event related to the game is the Wooster Street Social Club Art Exhibition. Esteemed artists from the street art, visual, graffiti, and photography space will debut original works on July 28 in New York City at the Wooster Street Social Club. The exhibition will run for two weeks displaying pieces by 3rassiere, Estevan Oriol, Eyeone, Jeremy Fish, Jorge Alderete, N8 Van Dyke, Rico Deniro, Robert Abeyta, Jr., and Sam Flores. A limited run of prints of the artists' works will be auctioned, with proceeds from the show to benefit art education.
