As mentioned at the start, Capell is a musician, so music plays an important role in Infinite Undiscovery. Throughout the course of the game, you’ll find and learn pieces of music, which you’ll be able to play on your flute. The music isn’t just a fun little hobby though; they actually act as buffs to your characters.

Gameplay is relatively smooth, though it took me a few minutes to get acclimated to the controls. One thing in particular that annoyed me was the unnecessary motion of sheathing and unsheathing your sword. When I first started playing, I was confused when I tried to attack a monster and wasn’t fighting back. I was pressing the attack buttons yet nothing was happening; until a rep told me to unsheathe my sword. In most games when you start fighting, you automatically unsheathe your weapon or draw an arrow to your bow.

Infinite Undiscovery looks like it will be a fun game. The graphics are beautiful, the special attacks look awesome, and it overall seems like a decent RPG. We’ll see how well it does when it’s released in a few months.
