RoboBlitz is one of the highest priced Xbox Live Arcade games, competing with the pay-as-you-go Lumines Live and Bankshot Billiards. This is absolutely, positively not a $15 game – basically you are paying that much to get a preview of the Unreal 3 engine. It is over so fast and the puzzles are mildly entertaining, but $15 is steep.

There’s no multiplayer content at this time, although it has been promised. There is an option for downloadable content from the menu, however there isn’t anything to grab online either.

The game is part action game and part puzzle game. While it isn’t the best at either genre, it is a rather entertaining but short and expensive game. If the multiplayer and other content is released at no cost, I reserve the right to revise my feelings accordingly. RoboBlitz is definitely worth giving a shot as a trial version. The three levels you get are somewhat indicative of the game so use that to make your decision wisely.
