Checkpoint Twenty Two: Mining Core

Head through the door out to the med station and continue going straight until you reach the railing on your right. Hop over it and stay in the shadows. When the maintenance worker and guard come close, zap them and stomp them. The riot guard wasn’t there for me this time and he was down the corridor around the corner a bit. When they are taken care of, run out of the shadows and across to the other side of the doorway and to the service panel on the wall beside it. Deactivate it and the rail defense will go down. Make your way through the tunnel passage and you can actually use the tranq gun to kill the lights in the area. Head around the corner going left and pop the lights for when the riot guard comes. Sneak past him and go around the next corner and head behind the crates to the right. There you will find Jagger Valance.

Talk to him and he will want you to get a package for his help. Pop the lights in the area and work your way around the right hand wall all the way around the room, behind the crates where there is a pack of smokes to the next door opening which has a ramp leading up to it. Take out all the guards you want in the area, since you will be coming back here again it just makes it easier and faster to run through again. When you enter the room, there will be a spiked roller pit to the left with blood all around it and a door to the right. Go through the door and wait in the shadowed corner for guard to walk by. Zap him and stomp him and make your way around the corner to another guard keeping watch of the gas room. Zap him and go through the door. Hop up on the box ad crouch through going to the left.

Head through the hole in the wall on the right side and the package will be at the far end near a dead body. Grab it and head back out and back to Jagger. He will tell you to go see Jupiter in Tower 19 to get a bomb to blow a hole in the gas room. Could be interesting. For now you need to get your butt back up to the recreation center at Tower 17 though, so you will need to head all the way back to the upper mines where you landed after jumping through the fan. Head back along the passage, past the riot guard and into the door on the right that you went through to get to Armadaro. Go to where the boxes are lifting again and this time get off at the second floor. Use the key pad and go through the next door and kill the three inmates in there.

Grab the second half of the rat list from them and continue straight. Make a right through the next room and you will be outside on a catwalk. Continue to go right and go down the stairs. Now you will be right where you entered the building to start with. Make your way to the corner and head down the passage until you reach the boxes on the right. Climb up on them and enter the window on the right. Zoom your sight straight along the walkway and tot e other side and zap the two guards at far end. When they go down, run around the corner to the right and go through the door at the end of the walkway. Head up the stairs and enter the next door and you will be above the riot guard and the guards in to the security checkpoint.

Creep along the walkway to the far side and jump down behind the crate there. Sneak in the shadows to the far side and then make a run for the large door atop the small set of stairs where you entered earlier. Go through and you will finally be back where you landed through the fan. Go straight and pop the lights and a guard will come looking for you. Zap and stomp him and continue to the large open area. There will be one more guard there to take out and you’ll be free to explore. Go to the lift directly across from where you entered the open area and use the code that Valya gave you to enter. Use the med chair and grab the smokes from the stack of crates. When you do that, you can then head across the bridge and enter the elevator there to get back up to work pass.

When the elevator stops, hide your weapons and step out of the elevator. Head to the left and there will be a grate at the far end that you can open for smokes. After you grab them, climb on to the box there and jump up to grab the wall. In the next room below will be a riot guard with lights. Crouch and crawl over along the top of the wall until you reach the left side. Above will be a rail that you can jump up and grab and shimmy your way across the gap over the riot guard. When you drop down on top of the wall on the other side, the other riot guard will be there still from before. Drop down preferably when it isn’t looking in your direction and head into the control room in the center. Open the door and you can talk to Shurik there without the riot guard seeing you. Shurik will tell you that he will give you a signal when the riot guard isn’t looking. Head through the Work pass door to get back out into the rec area.

Talk to Wilkins and Cuella to complete missions and then head into the Feedward to talk to Georgie. He will tell you that he will distract guard for 50 UD. Pay the man and head back to the Work pass area. When you enter Workpass immediately head to the right and enter the room there. Like last time, crouch and head under the platform on the right. Zap the guard in the corner and go through the door there. When you are in, go through the ventilation chambers and you will come out in the Feedward above everyone in the diner. Georgie will now be yelling so creep up behind the distracted guards and kill them. Go through the large door on the right and go down the stairs. Make a right and turn off the power at the service panel to turn out the lights. Turn around and head left of the stairs and there will be two guards around the corner. Take them out and then go along the left side of the fence and around the corner. Make a right and kill the guard there while you pop the bulbs along the way. Make another right around the corner and there will be another guard there. Kill him and open the vent that is to the left of the corner you turned.

Checkpoint Twenty Three: Tower Nineteen

Follow the vent shaft and it will take you to a long drop. Drop down and you will smash through the grate and land in a large room with a guard. Take him down before he gets too many shots off at you. Take his card and use the computer to open all the cells. Head through the door on the left and you will come outside to the cells and meet Jupiter. Talk to him and he will give you the bomb. As soon as he does, guards appear and open fire from both ends. Duck into a cell and if you want you can take out the guards. You don’t have to because when you see a container coming down. Run and jump off the edge towards it and a scene will play.

Checkpoint Twenty Four: Container Router

When the container stops, there will be two guards on the ground. Drop down and take them out and then slide your ass down the ladder there under the container. When you reach the bottom, a guard will be coming down the hall towards you. Wait for him and pop him. Make your way through the passage and there will be a ladder to your right and one at the very end. Take the one on the right to climb up and grab a pack of smokes but the far one at the end to continue. Climb up it and there will be a guard looking over the side when you reach the top. Push him or zap him and then continue up the ladder where he was standing. Go through the grate at the top and you will come out in a room with a guard under you. Wait until he moves and then drop down and take him out. Continue through the room around the corner and you will come to another ladder. Climb up this one and you will come out on a ledge with another grate.

Jump across the gap first, back over the ladder and make a right. Kill the maintenance worker there and take his red card. Go right down the hall way and you will come to the rail switch computer. Turn it on and you will be told that now you need to find a new track. Head back down the ladder and through to the room where you jumped down out of the vent. Instead of going up through the vent, use the keypad and go through the door. Now you are going to have to watch the security camera’s on the walls since they will start alerting when they see you. Be sure to pop all the lights you can. Follow this hallway and you will come across a few enemies and laser trip wires that will set off alarms. Hop over them and take out the guards and eventually you will come to a room that has a set of stairs going down with a sign saying back up generator beside it and a doorway on the left of it. You are going to the back up generator first and then back to that door on the left.

Go through the generator door and follow the hallway over the lasers and through the guards until you come to an outside part. Kill the two guards along the walkway and go down the ladder at the end. Go to the right when you land and head for the red glow in the ground. Slide down the ladder there and flip the power switch on. Head back out and all the way back the stairs where you entered. Now go up through the door that will be on your right now, and take out the maintenance worker there. Turn on the rail track here and it will tell you it is at 100%. Now run your way back to the back up generator room where you just were and there will be containers moving back and forth in there. Drop down the first ladder to reach the track and run to the end. Container will come and drop down the large opening there. When they drop, jump on top of one and the alarm will sound when you hit the red lasers.

When the container stops, jump over to the ledge behind it and open the grate there. Follow it along and will have some writing inside saying mine core and an arrow and it will lead to a long drop that will put you in the passage way right before Jagger Valance. Head around the corner to where Jagger was and make your way over to the ramped entrance to the room on the left. Take out the guard there and enter. Follow the hallway to the gas room and make your way through to where the package was for Jagger. When you reach it a scene will play to show you dropping the bomb. Make your way out and a long scene will play.

Checkpoint Twenty Five: Crash Site

After the scene, attack the guard and drop him. Make your way out of the container and around the corner towards the flares on the ground. When you reach the next area a few steps away, another scene will play. After the scene is over, jump down the big hole in the ground.

Checkpoint Twenty Six: Abandoned Equipment Center

When you land, grab the grenades and the shotgun off the ground and move forward. When the big guy comes for you, toss a grenade or two at him to take him down. Enter the passage on the right and there will be more ammo there for you. Follow it along and there will be some smaller bugs to kill but they are no tougher than the dwellers were. Jump on the ramp to the left and follow it to the end and climb up on the wall there. Hop up on some boxes and the next wall and then drop to the hallway below. On the left will be a tool room door that is locked for now. Head right and follow the hallway around until you come to a room on the right that has a bug sitting on top of a box in the rear corner. Enter the room and head for that box. It will have a vent tool on it that you can use to open the vent right above you. Follow the vent along and it will drop down into a large room. When you drop, immediately run for the small opening ahead of you in the left wall.

Go right when you enter and you will come out on the far side of a bridge. Grab the shotgun and the tool room key and go to the wall where there is a block and two wires over head. Jump and grab them and shimmy your way across the cavern on the wires and drop when you reach the other side. Now go through the doorway and you will be right back where you started. Go up the ramp and wall again and over the boxes and drop down to open the tool room door on the left side. Use the med station there because I know you need it and head left through the small opening. Inside this room will be a cell charger and a door. Go through the door and at the end you will enter a room with tons of picks ups one being an empty cell and another being a prototype rifle.

Grab them all and head back to the cell charger. Power up the cell and go back out through the small opening and back into the hallway. Follow it back along to the room with air vent you climbed through earlier and enter it. When you drop out of the vent, again, quickly run to the small opening on the left because one of those huge bugs will come into the room. Walk to the rear of the drill and place the power cell into it. Operate it and it will tear down the door at the far end. Stay back a bit since the debris will fly back and smack you for some damage. When it stops, go through the bottom of the door and up the hill. Go into the vent on the left side where the bugs are coming out and continue to follow it.

Checkpoint Twenty Seven: Central Storage

Follow it across the ceiling of a room where bugs and guards are fighting and continue until you come to an outside area. Jump up to grab the railing over head and shimmy your way left. Drop on to the walkway and there will be a vent there and a ladder. The ladder will take you to a cig pack and the vent continues. Follow the vent and you will drop down to and come to a room with a guard killing bugs as they enter the room.

Run to the right side of the room and go through the door there. Kill the three bugs on the walls and enter the container on the right. Climb up to the service hatch in the ceiling. Operate the elevator electronics and the container will start to fall. When it stops, go through the door and through the hall to run into a riot guard killing a big bug and everything else in site. Run past him on the left side and enter the door there. Continue to the next hall and there will be another riot guard firing through an opening on the wall. Run past him to enter the loading docks.

Checkpoint Twenty Eight: Loading Docks

Go through the next door and make a right. Run for the end of the walk way and kill the guard there. From now on there are going to be a lot more guard instead of bugs. Go through the door there and take the elevator up. Exit and go through the next hallway and come to another elevator. Go through the door at the end and kill the guards in there. Make a left and there will be a cargo lift the rises up a ramp there. Turn the elevator switch on to make the lift go and hold on for a ride. When you reach the top, there will be two guards and a riot guard. Lure the riot guard over and hide behind the red crate while you toss grenades at him. When he goes down, take out the two others and go through the door on the left.

Kill the two guards at the top of the stairs and go left when they are dead. In the hallway around the corner, there will be a few more guards to kill. Do so and enter the hospital type area on the right for a med machine. Exit there and continue down the hall and up the stairs to enter a room with a fork lift. There will be two guards on catwalks on either side of the room as well as one guard on the ground. Use the forklift for cover and take them out. Head for the gate on the left with the orange circles when they are dead and press the button to go up. When you reach the top, there will be another riot guard there. Pop all the lights out and sneak past him into the door on the left. Follow it up the stairs and out into another open area with a booth across from you. Kill the guard here and kill all the lights. Enter the booth and use the med station if you need and press the door button on the right to open the large door and to enter the Fuel Transport.

Checkpoint Twenty Nine: Fuel Transport

When you enter get ready for a big fella. The heavy guard that appears looks like it is right out of Robocop but it packs a mean punch. Always keep a pillar between you and him and never let it get close to you at all. You will notice while you are shooting at him for no reason that there are canisters or tanks that are on rail over head and they zip back and forth. Shoot those and they will fall and damage the heavy guard. Try to get them to fall square on him but close to him is just as good. Have about 5 of them fall on him and he will go down. Grab the shotguns on the wall and exit through the large doors.

Checkpoint Thirty: Hanger

Follow it through to the next one and you will come to the hanger where you will face two riot guards first. Pop out the lights and then toss some grenade sticks at them. You should have enough to kill both of them but if not then just sneak past them and go to the left and take out the guards by the ship. There are quite a few enemies here so make sure you use a lot of cover and shadows. When they are down, get close to the ship and the hatch will open allowing you to enter. Watch the next few scenes as they explain more about what is going on.

Checkpoint Thirty One: Exercise Area

After the scene with Johns and the warden you are in the cryo chamber and have two minutes to find a way out before you go to sleep. Just stand around for the first part until you pass out and fall over. When you wake up again, go to the cryobox between FLOW and OCEAN and lay down in it. This is where the other body that is lying on the floor will be placed. Get to the box before the body is picked up and lay in it. When the body is placed on you, you will just push it off and be taken to the pyramids.

Checkpoint Thirty Two: Cryo Pyramids

After the next scene you need to find a way out of the Cryo pyramid and escape. When you are first in control, pick up the club there and take a step forward and you will collapse. When you get up, there will be some flying robots in your face. Whack them and head forward and up the pyramid on the left. Look to the right and you will notice some larger robots enter through a door. Try to stay hidden from them and let them walk away from the door they came out of. When they do, run through it and to the next door.

Checkpoint Thirty Three: Facility Control

When you reach the end, the doors at both ends will close and a trap door in the floor will open to release more robots. Jump down there and head through the red fog. Club the robots there and work your way to the end. Jump up out of the hole and a guard will fall in. Run down the hall and use the med station if need be and continue to the next hole. Jump in and club more robots to get to the end. Climb out again and head up the stairs there. Make a right when you reach the top and sneak up on the guard there.

Take his gun and use the computer terminal to open the security doors that were closed on you earlier. Kill the guards that appear and make your way back through the tunnels that you just came from. When you reach the first hole you jumped in, climb up and there will be two heavy guards that come to attack. Run past them and enter the second hallway on the left. Follow it around to the right and enter the open heavy guard at the far end of the room. Now that you have control of it, walk it forward and kill the smaller robots in the room. Start your way forward when they are dead and hang a right down the next hallway to face another heavy guard and to enter an elevator which will take you to the posh office section of the prison.

Checkpoint Thirty Four: Corporate Office

Continue to follow the hallway since you will only have one way to go and kill all the guards along the way. Have a few chuckles as the heavy guard doesn’t seem to like you much. Really you don’t even need to shoot the humans unless they are out of stomping range like the few that are on a ledge above you. Otherwise you can just stomp them all as you walk past. Work your way through the hallway destroying everything pretty well and not leaving the floor in too nice of a condition. When you finally reach the last room which you will turn left into, go through the door and wait for the elevator to take you down and open the door.

Checkpoint Thirty Five: Take Off Platform

Step out of the elevator and head left and just walk over the guards here. Remember when the Heavy guard did it to you? Pay back is a bitch. When you enter the room on the far left, another heavy guard will enter for you to take out. When it’s dead you will exit your robot and be back on foot. Walk up to the big red button on the wall marked door button and press it. When the big door opens, so does two more doors that release 2 heavy guards. Run through the large door to the outside and another scene will play. After the very long scene, you will be in a showdown with the warden’s robots. Grab the shotgun off the floor and the minigun to the right. Use the shotgun to blow the lights out of the room and then equip the minigun. Throw on your eye shine to see the robots and let them have the minigun full force to smoke them both no problem. Keep the sun to your back however so you can continue to see the robots. Just keep firing non stop at them and they will both go down without a hitch. When they are both down, sit back and watch the last scene of the game.

And that’s all there is too it. Congratulations!
