Mission Twenty Four: Bomb Truck

Remember back when you were tossing grenades out of the back of the truck at cops? Well it’s payback time. This mission is actually a lot simpler than it seems. To take out the truck and avoid getting hit by the exploding barrels, simply drive as close to the back of the truck as possible. If you are right up close against the back of it, the barrels will just fly over your head and not touch you. That will leave you plenty of time to take out the truck and concentrate on driving. You have 2:30 on the clock to destroy it, but by getting close to the truck and firing relentlessly at it, you won’t need even half of that to finish the mission.

Mission Twenty Five: Chase the Train

For this first part of the mission you need to drive and try to get ahead of the train. There are a few way to do it but the two main are to either drive up beside the train on the left side and get in front of it before you run into the small bridge that will smash your car and the other is to go through the hole in the fence on the left a few seconds after you start driving along the tracks and drive along the road until you are a good distance in front of the train and then drive back onto the tracks through another hole in the fence later on. I found driving through the hole in the fence a lot easier then having to try and get around the train. When ever I did get in front of the train by chasing along side of it, I would wipe out as soon as I got in front of it.

Driving through the hole in the fence on the left side was a lot easier and a lot faster. When you get far ahead of the train, take a look along the right side of the road and there will be a fence and some time a stone wall. You will pass a few openings, but there is one that will stick out at the top of a small slope that you can drive up to the track and get right on it. Once you are in front of the train, continue to drive along the track and you will get a message saying to get to the bridge before the train. Since you are in front of the train, that won’t be a problem. Stick with the tracks until you reach the bridge and a scene will play. After the scene of Jericho walking away, you will be in control and you will see a few enemies in front of you. Take them out and any other that you can see in there area. There will be a few cops around so make sure you see your cross hair go red first before you fire.

Walk up to the edge of the grass and continue to kill all the enemies you can see. When you step onto the sidewalk, you will then have Jones and Vauban with you to protect. They love to get themselves killed so make sure you watch where they are running to and peg any enemies there. Continue to make your way up the street and there will be a line of enemies at the top with some cops up there as well. When you get near it, Jones and Vauban will run around to the right and there will be a lot of enemies there waiting. Take them out as quickly as you can before they get killed. When all is quiet, walk up to the line of cop cars and a few enemies will run out from the alley on the right. Kill them and stay at the mouth of the alley and kill the other two or three down there.

When they are dead, you’ll see the red arrow bobbing back and forth and that’s where Jericho is. You can aim and take shots at him while he is far away and he won’t be able to hit you. The only thing is that sometimes he will hide behind the dumpster and you’ll need to get a little closer to him to shoot him and lure him out. he takes a lot of hits to finally bring down, but as long as you are back a bit he won’t hit you at all. The micro Uzi takes him down the fastest and just chews up his life until he has none and you take him down. When he falls, a scene plays and you have finished the game!
