For this part of the mission though, you will be using the charges to help you take out tanks and walls as well as the generators. From the start, run forward and hide behind the bunker there. Let the tank roll past and then run up and plant a charge in the road. Run for cover and let the tank turn and roll over it. When it does, it will blow and destroy the tank. Continue to the left of where you started to the first generator there. Blow it up and continue to the far left wall. Follow it across behind the building and watch for the Mad Cat on patrol through the center street. When it is gone, head to the gate on the far side of the area and plant a charge there. Stay away from the wall when blowing gates because they will come down sometimes as well. Blow the gate and wait for the tank on the far side to roll out.

Plant a charge where it was and wait for it to come back as you hide. When it does and it blows up, plant a charge on the tower there and kill it. Head to the left and blow the gate there to reach the next generator. Blow it and you will have one left. Head to the right up the dirt hill beside the first gate you blew open and watch for the tank there to leave. When it does, you can grab the Mad Cat sitting there and climb in. Now destroy the other Mad Cat, the tanks and the last generator. When the last generator is toast a countdown will start and you need to head for the gate immediately. When you reach it, hop out and hack the panel to open it and climb back in your mech. Run through the opening and you will complete the mission.

I Hate Snakes:

As you start this snowy mission, your objective is to free the allies. Head forward and take out the tanks and the mech that comes to play. Don’t destroy any buildings yet since you haven’t rescued the prisoners yet. Once you get a scene of the little guys running out, then can if you choose. Head through the opening in the wall and recon the Word base camp. Follow the path around to the next camp area and take out the troops and tanks you come across. You will run into another heavy mech at the camp as well. Deal with all the enemies here and continue to follow the green nav arrow.

When you come to the dead end, you will be told that you need to get to the top of the mountain. Walk over to the Hellbringer mach and hop in it. Use the jets it has to fly your self up to the top of the wall and then over it. Take out the tanks and the next Hellbringer that are there and continue around the path to the next wall and hop up over it. To the left will be an uplink tower that you’ll need to destroy but it will also be guarded by another Hellbringer. Take them both out and keep on your original path. When you reach the airstrip, make a right to the end and grab the weapon upgrades there. When you have them, you will be told to get to the top of the mountain to check out the strange readings they are getting there.

When you make your way around the path way at the far end of the airstrip, you will come to another encampment where you will need to help your pals take down two HellBringers. Give them a hand doing so and when they are dead, you will need to run recon on the base and find some intel. Follow the nav point to the mining camp and you will come to a nice little fellow called a Star Adder. To defeat him without getting your ass handed to you by his plasma cannons, stick close to him so he uses his gun and continually and repeatedly nail him over and over with your heavy weapons. After more then a few shots, the Star Adder will drop and the mission will end.

Mountain Song:

As the mission starts, hop in the Mad Cat behind you and lead Foster down the mountain pass in his APC. There isn’t much opposition other than one mech at the base camp at the bottom of the hill. When you have reached the camp there at the bottom, Foster will tell you that you need to find a VTOL to help him get his APC across the terrain. Grab the Uziel there and follow the green nav point to the mountain range. Jump jet over the hill and there will be a Mad Cat you can grab to the left. Hop in it and take on the other two Mad Cats in the area after you destroy the communication towers. Once the sarge and his mechs are toast, grab the VTOL off the plateau and fly your way back to the APC. Fly over it and drop on top of it to pick it up. Once you have it, follow the green arrows up over the mountain and there will be two comm. Tower dishes. Stay back a bit so that you can hit them without being hit by the tanks and cannons there. When the two towers are destroyed, head to the right and try to grab any weapons and shields that you can find. Head around the corner and past the group of tanks to end the mission.

Sending out an SOS to the World:

As his mission begins, you will need to man the turret in front of you. Use the R3 button to call up a shield when the mech get in nice and close on you. You will also have two methods of firing, one being a missile and one being a cannon. The missile you will guide and will be able to detonate. When the two mechs are destroyed and the tank that follows, hop off the turret and head for the VTOL. Take it up and fly it back to the Icarus and land there. When you land, Foster will tell you that the Star Adder is ready to roll and you need to protect him. Hop in the adder and watch as a gang of mechs come towards your position. There is an explosive pack on the bridge that you can blow to take out the bridge and any mechs on it. This really is a tough little battle so make sure you stay near shields and ammo to keep your butt out of trouble. You will also have an Alpha cannon which takes a while to charge but will destroy a mech in one hit. Once the rush of mechs has been destroyed, the Icarus will be free to go and the mission will end.

Once More Into the Breach:

Now that you have a fancy new mech called a Blood Asp, make your way forward and simply destroy everything in the area. Destroy the tunnel entrances to stop the reinforcements from coming in and take out the 3 or 4 mechs that will enter. When you reach the base area, the large gates will close and you some choppers will attack. Kill them and you will need to hop out of your mech and enter the small entrance on foot. When you get in, turn to the right and hack the control panel there and the large gate will open. Run through to get back into your Blood Asp and enter the area. Now that you are inside the courtyard of the enemy base, destroy everything in sight. Kill the tunnels on both sides to stop the tanks from entering and kill the mad cats and the heavy mech that will enter. When all three are dead, turn your attention to the buildings above the doors with the red lights and fire at them until they collapse to the ground. When everything is destroyed the mission will end.

To the Arena:

As the mission begins, you find yourself in a Rommel tank like the previous level. Head forward along the path and take out the enemy tanks and choppers as you come across them. When you reach the base, there will be a mech running around as well as a tank or two. You can hop out of the tank here and run over to one of the deactivated hackman mechs on the right side if you like. Go grab one and take out the mech running around and continue running towards the WOB production facility through the open archway. Head forward and you will be told to head to the right path through the water.

Press the R3 to put on your cloaking and run pas the enemies there to stay undetected. When you reach the production facility, you will need to destroy everybody in the area and destroy the tunnels there as well. The tunnels you can destroy from the top ledge with out really getting into the battle too much. Once the tunnels are destroyed, there will be two mechs and a load of tanks to deal with. Destroy everything in the area and be sure to walk over the cargo trucks to get some supplies. Once everything is dead, head to the far right to the doorway there and hop out of your mech. Enter the door way and proceed into the production facility.
