Time Square 1 - Robot Attack:

As the robots land around you, use your heavy attacks to break their shields and bring them down. Clear out the area of bots and eventually a big momma mech will enter. When it blows the hole in the wall, run through and continue down the alley. Grab the FF token from the back of the truck and continue around the corner and up over the boxes. Make your way over the next set and then you will have to face off against some more robots. Defeat all of them and then the mech will shoot the statue which will open the gate. Run through and follow the alley around to a courtyard. When you enter it, you will need to protect the civilians in there. Destroy the robots that show up while avoiding the mechs rockets when you hear it beep. After a while some civilians will be in danger hanging from windows. Run to the 4 spot and use Reed to snag them down. Keep destroying the robots and eventually the chapter will end.

Time Square 2 – Find Teammates:

Start the chapter by beating the tar out of the Human Torch. Use whatever attacks you like and objects to smack him around. Once you do enough damage, Sue will call for help. Take out the robots that appear and then more will come rushing out. Johnny will learn a new move now to break shields, and the thing can tear right through them with his anvil smash. When they are munched, head up the street where the bots came from and you will need to protect the civilians there. Smash every robot in sight and eventually a quick black robot with a sword will show up. Beat on him for a while and he will run away. Follow him down the street and you will come across some robots beating up a gas station. Defend the gas station and don’t let its meter go empty. Smash and bash anything that goes near the pumps and then the black robot with the sword will show up again. Take him down and the chapter finishes.

Times Square 3 – War Mech:

As you start the chapter, take out the robots that land and eventually Sue and Reed will enter the area. When they run in, the Warmech will be right on their tail. Keep battling the robots that appear and every once in awhile the Warmech will drop his shield. When he does, run up behind him and give him a few heavy hits to inflict damage on him. Use the Thing to whack on him and when you get him down far enough, the finishing move will pop up. Let it have it and the war Mech will fall for good.

The Vault 1 – Rescue Ben!:

Now that you have been imprisoned in the vault by a strange looking Nick Fury, you need to fight through the prison guards. Smash the robots as they come up their chute. Destroy the chute to keep from getting over run and then you will need to go find Ben. Turn invisible to get through the door and head to the end of the hall. At the end will be a hallway going left and right. Either way will have two open cells and loose inmates. You need o get 5 of them back into their cells. Use your grapple to pick them up and then press it again while aiming towards their cell to throw them in or use your field blast to knock them into their cells while you also take out the guards and their delivery chutes. Continue down the hall on the left and turn invisible to get through the door past the sensors. Continue past the electricity beams and you will fight more guards and find more inmates. Eventually when you come to a hallway down the center on the right, follow it and you will enter Ben’s containment cell. There will be energy beams that circle the room as well as guard delivery chutes around the walls. Destroy the chutes and then focus on the blue glowing panels around the room. Once they are destroyed, the system will shut down and you will just need to finish off the remaining guards in the room.

The Vault 2 – Disable Security:

Now that you have Ben back, it’s time to take down security. Since Ben is still woozy, you need to protect him for the first part. Once you beat on the super guard there a little Ben will come around and give you a hand. Afterwards, slip through the lasers and take out the guard robot delivery chutes and the guards. Head through the next set of lasers and use the three control panels there to open the laser doors, and to turn the turrets against the robots. When Ben catches up to you, start beating the remaining robots and head down the next passage and there will be two cells on the right that you need to return prisoners to. Head around the corner to find them and some guards.



Take them to their cells and take out the guards. Continue to the end and enter the control room. In here there will be 4 shields that guard the mainframe. Pick up guards and toss them into the shields and then destroy them. That will make each of the 4 shields blow up. Once all 4 ore toast, destroy the guard deliveries and the guards. Hack the mainframe and then you will need to find the elevator to escape. Head back out the way you came and when you reach the large room where the turrets were. When you get in there, Blaastar will break out of his cell and attack. Run to the other side and use Ben to pick up the rocks that falls and beat him over the head with them. Grab the FF token from in his cell and give him the finishing move once you whittle away his health. Once he is defeated, you will hop on the elevator to escape.

Vault 3 – Prison Chase:

Time to catch that winged freak. Defeat the robot guards here and have Sue use her power to blow away the rubble blocking the entrance. Continue down the hallway and Dragonman will be there trying to destroy the pillars that are holding up the ceiling. Attack him to stop him from bringing it down. Once you have hit him enough times, he will run away to the next room. Have Johnny break through the door and you will run into a few more guard bots. Take them down and then use the sprinkler to put out the fire. Continue through more robots and through another batch of fire to turn another sprinkler and you will eventually catch up to Dragonman. He seemed to ignore Sue while he went straight for Johnny, so I just had Sue nail him from behind with force blasts over and over and a punch and kick here and there until he finally ran away. When he does, take down the remaining security bots to finish the chapter.

Vault 4 – Dragon man:

As the elevator rises, destroy the bots that show up on it. There are two mechanisms that you need to protect so that the elevator doesn’t crash. After a while, Reed and Ben will arrive on an elevator next to you. Run to their elevator and continue protecting it while destroying robots. Now Dragon Man will show up. Use Reed and his long stretch punch while targeting him in the air. When he lands, use spider bots to hit him for some heavy damage while everyone else gangs up on him as well. When the third elevator shows up, hop over to it and continue beating on Dragon Man. Once you have finally nailed him enough times, he will burst into flames and fall for good.

Shield 1 – Nanite Infection:

Head forward and you will need to find Sue and Johnny. When you reach the crystal stairs, kill the spiders that attack and hop up them and head to the right to find the FF token. Hop back down and make your way to the left. Defeat the few more spiders here and the big momma one that comes out. When they are all toast, knock over the pillar and walk across it to get to the other side of the large gap. Grab the extra life on top of the crystal stairs to the left and defeat the claw that comes out of the ground here. Kill the little spiders and then head through the door that opens when the claw disappears. When you enter the next room, you will see Annihilus fly by. Use Reeds stretch punch to hit the pillar on the platform across from you on the right side.



Destroy the spider there and continue across to the next two platforms by knocking over the pillars to cross. Kill the claw in the next room and continue through the door. When you enter this room, only one of you will enter and the other will get locked out. Kill the spiders on the moving floor and watch for the spots that open up. Once they are all dead, head through the door that opens. Now you will square off against Annihilus. Around the room will be pillars that have a shield around them. When Annihilus gets low on life, he will run over to one of the pillars and recharge his health. When he does, the other pillars are open for attacks. Destroy them when he recharges and beat on him when he not charging. You can get lucky and defeat him before he ever makes it to a pillar to recharge though if you keep on him with light punches over and over and over. Once you get him down to ¼ health, he will take off.

Shield 2 – Plasma Worm:

This is a pretty simple battle where you just need to take down the Plasma Worm. As you enter, the worm will be slinking about. I used Reed and his spider bombs to inflict the most damage to it when it was on the ground. After you whack it a few times, it will dive down and rise up on a pillar. There will be a few pillars that rise, so make sure you find the one he is on quickly and smash it. When you do, the worm will take a lot of damage as opposed to the damage it heals itself when it is wrapped around it. When it falls off the pillar, continue to beat it until it gets on another pillar. Continue the pattern until it falls once and for all.

Space 1 – Infestation:

Once you start, make your way down the corridor and look for the control room. Simply make your way to the end of the hall and through the door there before your oxygen supply runs out. Hit the red 4 spot in side the room and the life systems will come on. Head back out of the room the way you came and head all the way to the end. Use the machinery on the left at the red 4 spot and open the door there. When you do, a swarm of bugs will attack. Take them out as well as their hive. There will be another hive to the right and one beside the door mechanism to open the door. Destroy them all and then open the door. When you go through, some crawlies will come up from the floor. Take them out as you make your way past. When you enter the next room, there will be trees that give off a poison cloud and will make you move in the opposite direction. Avoid them as you go past and take out the rest of the bugs that appear. Once they are down, use the two red 4 spots to the right and then you will need to toss fireballs at the branches covering the door until it falls away. Once you go through the door, another big baddy will appear. Either take him out or zip past and take out the bugs in the next room. Once they are down, use the 4 spot on the right and the generator will activate. Walk to the control panel and press B when one of the green canisters is in front of you. The generator will start and the chapter will finish.
