The final championship tournament for the Video Gamers League's Midnight Gaming Championship will take place at Ameriquest Field (Arlington, Texas) this Saturday (November 18th) at 7pm. This final battle among the best game players in the country will see six game tournaments going on simultaneously under one roof as well as live music and a VIP area. Spectators will watch Midnight Gaming Championship winners from the past eight weeks compete while having the opportunity to win prize packages that include a trip to Los Angeles , a Sony PS3 and many other prizes.
Finalists for the Midnight Gaming Championship will be competing for prizes, including a Best Buy gift certificate, XBOX 360, Sony PSP and a one-of-a-kind autographed guitar, signed by the Guitar Hero development team. Spectators and gamers alike will enjoy live music and have the chance to enter an “Ultimate Gamer Drawing” to include tickets to the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers, plus a Sony PS3, Xbox360 and a Nintendo Wii.
Additionally, the public can sign-up on-site and compete in free gaming tournaments to win more prizes. Tournaments include G4’s NBA 2k7 game published by 2k Sports, where the 1st place winner will receive an autographed jersey, four tickets behind home plate and a chance to watch batting practice on the field at one of the Texas Rangers 2007 home games, plus a trip to Los Angeles to attend a taping of G4’s Attack of the Show. I-Play will host a Fast and the Furious: Tokyo mobile gaming tournament to win a Verizon Chocolate cell phone. Also, GameZnFlix will be featuring their popular Ridge Racer 6 game tournament.
