Retailer Play N Trade gets ready for national Halo 2 tournaments.

Retailer Play N Trade today announced the local rounds of the Play N Trade National Halo 2 Tournament will be held on March 3, 2007, with the winners from each store competing on March 10, 2007 to determine the national champion. Each local store winner will receive a free edition of Halo 3 immediately upon release and a $200 in-store gift certificate. The Play N Trade National Halo 2 Tournament Champion will also receive a 32-inch high-definition LCD TV, as well as a $1500 in-store gift card.

Tournament registration is now open and requires an entry fee is $10 until March 3, when it will be raised to $15. Gamers may register for the local tournament up to a half hour before start time. Local tournament times are determined by each participating Play N Trade store. The Play N Trade National Halo 2 Tournament on March 10 will begin at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time. Local winners and the national champion will be determined by multiple round/single elimination tournaments.

The tournament registration form is available for download online and must be printed out, completed and returned to your local Play N Trade store for entry. The parental consent form and complete tournament rules and regulations are available as well at http://www.playntrade.com/register . All forms are also available at any participating Play N Trade video game store.
