GuildCafe's Favorites
Gaming social network gets social bookmarking.
Date: Wednesday, May 02, 2007
Author: James Fudge

GuildCafe Entertainment, a social network for online gamers, today announced Favorites, the all-new social bookmarking system now. With other content-sharing capabilities already in place, GuildCafe's latest addition to its community-building tool set enables members to promote any article, video or game content they want to share with other gamers.

To direct content to the Favorites section, all it takes is a simple user vote on a forum thread or blog entry. Content gets additional funneling within a variety of subsections to catalog popularity and relevance, including the "Hot" list (the most current and popular of items), "On the Radar" (the newest content, regardless of popularity) and "Most Popular" (all content, new and old, that has attracted extra attention). "Group Picks" and "Friends Picks" provide a quick reference to any item submitted by members of groups and friend lists.
