Code Monkeys Invade G4TV
New animated series to spoof gaming.
Date: Tuesday, June 26, 2007
Author: James Fudge

The secret history of videogames is exposed in the world premiere of "Code Monkeys," an animated comedy of 8-bit proportions. From the warped mind of creator Adam de la Peña ("Minoriteam," "Crank Yankers," "The Man Show"), Code Monkeys is a rowdy celebration and biting parody of videogame, technology and pop culture. The satire, which is produced by de la Peña's Monkey Wrangler Productions, collides with reality as several of the most iconic tech and gaming personalities even lend their voices for special guest appearances, including Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak and Atari founder Nolan Bushnell. Code Monkeys premieres with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, July 11 starting at 9 p.m. ET/PT, only on G4.
