Red Sox Pitcher to end baseball career after this year for game development.

According to a report on GameTap today, Red Sox Pitcher Curt Schilling will leave baseball at the end of the year to persue game development with his company 38 Studios. Schilling made the announcement to a small gather of media in Vegas this week. 38 Studios, along with fantasy author R.A. Salvatore and and comic book creator Todd MacFarlane, are helping Schilling to create an unnamed MMO title. The game is still in the conceptual stages but in the report SSchilling says that he expects the game to be completed by late 2010.
