Blitz: The League Review
7 out of 7
Midway's Blitz: The League sounds like a brand new game, but it’s the same old Blitz.

Sounds are pretty good – especially the crowd chants. There is a play by play man who is good for some laughs the first few times, then he gets tired fast. The offensive coordinator also adds some comments.

Overall, I was expecting a lot more from this game. I wanted it to be a Madden-killer. Unfortunately, it’s the same old Blitz with some nice new additions that really don’t have a major effect on gameplay. The game is definitely worth giving a try, but as much as I hate to say it, I’ll be going back to Madden and NCAA Football for my pigskin fix.
