One final thing …

For those Xbox 360 owners that think Getting Up sounds like something they'd like to try, you can forget it – at least for now. An attempt to run Getting Up on my Xbox 360 failed. I don't know who is responsible for seeing that newly-released titles are backward compatible (the game publisher or Microsoft), but somebody better get a handle on this thing or damage is going to be done to the 360 and the original Xbox line. The 360 is currently in the valley between the launch games and the floodgates opening for all the new titles that will follow. Original Xbox games are one way to fill the gap now. Likewise, why buy a game for your current Xbox if you know you are going to be trading up to a new 360 and anything you buy now is not known to play on the 360. That just hastens the death of the original Xbox.

My personal pledge: in all future reviews I do on GameShark for Xbox games, I will let you know if the game is backward compatible on the Xbox 360 at the time of the review. You deserve to know.
